What causes Gmail to be so damn stubborn? Seems like a joke

For over 24 hours now, I’ve been trying to make a trade. One Gmail inbox won’t let me in, no matter if I change device/IP/etc. It doesn’t matter if I have the correct password, Gmail doesn’t believe the account belongs to me, and that’s it.

To get around this, we’ve added our support email as the recovery email, just so I can get around the block and confirm that the account is mine.

So, here is how things went:

  1. I log in.
  2. Enter a wrong password (purposely)
  3. I pick the option to login via the recovery email
  4. I get the code
  5. I enter it in
  6. I am almost in, right? Wrong:

Recovery methods don’t matter anymore?
