- Always keep your listing complete and accurate — include all mandatory information such as audience demographics, original email (if applicable), and recent activity.
- Do not include URLs or @handles in public posts. Share them only in private messages with interested buyers.
- Screenshots should never show the property URL or @handle. This protects your listing from being exposed on search engines or targeted by hackers.
- If your listing involves a domain/website, avoid including appraisal data (GoDaddy, Estibot, etc) as it is prohibited.
- Once corrected, notify a SWAPD admin via a @tag so that they can relist your listing. If your listing was deleted, you will need to repost it following our guidelines.

Your listing may have been removed because it lacked essential details such as:
- Audience demographics (countries of fans, followers, or traffic)
- Information about the original email availability (for accounts)

- Update your listing with all required information.
- Keep any sensitive data private unless specifically requested.
These are crucial pieces of information that virtually every potential buyer will request right from the beginning. This not only enhances your chances of selling faster but also eliminates the need to repeatedly upload the same screenshots for every potential buyer.
Screenshot Guidance
Screenshot Issues
Your listing may have been removed because your screenshots/messages included URLs or @handles. This is to protect your privacy and prevent sensitive information from being exposed to search engines or hackers.
How to Fix:
- Remove screenshots displaying your @handle/account URL
- Re-upload screenshots without URLs or handles.
- Only share URLs or handles with buyers via private messages.
Link Guidance
Your listing may have included public links to your property, which is not allowed under SWAPD rules. Public URLs expose your listing to potential threats.
How to Fix:
- Remove any URLs from the public listing.
- Share links privately only with interested buyers.
Wrong Category
Your listing may have been posted in the incorrect section of the site.
How to Fix:

Vague Listings
Your listing may be missing sufficient details or is poorly described.
How to Fix:
- Provide clear, comprehensive descriptions of the product, service, or account.
- Include all relevant details buyers would need to make a decision.
Prohibited Items/Illegal Content
Your listing may include items or services that are not allowed on SWAPD or that are illegal.
How to Fix:
- Remove prohibited items or services from your listing.
- Ensure future listings comply with SWAPD rules.
Off-Site Communication
Your listing may have asked users to communicate outside of SWAPD (e.g., email, Telegram), which is prohibited.
How to Fix:
- Ensure all communication stays within SWAPD.
- Remove any references to off-site communication in your listing.
Domain / Website Guidance
Your domain or website listing may have been removed because it did not meet quality standards or violated category-specific rules:
- Low-quality domains/websites
- Including prohibited appraisals (GoDaddy, Estibot)
How to Fix:
- Review the Domain Category Rules before reposting.
- Only list properties that meet SWAPD standards for premium domains/websites.

Duplicate Content
Your listing may have been removed because it duplicates one of your existing threads/listings. Posting multiple threads for the same item, service, or account is not allowed on SWAPD.
How to Fix:
- Keep only one thread/listing per item, service, or account.

Low-Quality/Spam-Like Content
Your listing may have been removed because it contains spam-like elements, including:
- Too much AI-generated content, making it low-quality or misleading
- Excessive emojis, which make it difficult to read
- Overuse of capital letters or “shouting” in titles or descriptions

- Rewrite the listing to make it clear, human-readable, and accurate.
- Reduce the number of emojis and keep the listing professional and easy to scan.
- Avoid using all caps or excessive punctuation in titles and descriptions.
