After Spending $57M, Facebook Removed Me And My 25M+ Fans

Do you have an account manager?

I sent your medium article to Nathaniel Gleicher on linkedin, hopefully he sees it as he is the head of Cybersecurity policy and I think this sort of thing is his department, since he has and is currently spearheading the campaign against fraudulent advertisers on the platform.

Thank you. I really appreciate all the support I can get.

We have contacts with ‘ad experts’ but we haven’t had real reps for a couple of years, though we’ve tried. They made some adjustments at the Facebook Toronto office a few years ago. Prior to that we worked with an amazing group of people at Facebook.

Live chat guys you meant? They are worse ever

Man, that’s sad to hear. I hated FB ever since I had an account stolen from me many, many years ago. I gave all the evidence I could and… nothing. The guy who stole it continued to use it and transformed it into something else. Another small page I had, I later realized the reach sucked.

At a certain point in time FB didn’t care about free pages. I used to grow everything naturally without any ad spend, and then suddenly they reduced my reach to zilch.

I also hate that IG went to crap after FB took over. Try getting in contact with anyone over hacked accounts or glitches or appeals.

Both live chat, and also the ad experts who call and book appointments. They are all very nice, and I think are sincerely eager to help. We just haven’t been able to get what we’re looking for from a rep. Maybe my expectations are just too high after working with the people at Facebook we worked with previously (2012-2017 we had outstanding service from a team of great reps at Facebook).

you need someone who can send your page bro with Media Panel

Update.

That’s just unacceptable @Shared, we are a small business that have spent almost $100k and I was upset we couldn’t get a FB Representative for our account. Seeing this, makes it even worse, not even after millions spent they care about their clients.

Does anyone know after which threshold we get a FB Representative? We have spent about 90k USD

From what I know, it’s not only about the amount you spend but also about the content and pages you advertise.

We are a brand, product base company. We produce our stuff, not dropshipping or anything like that.

As i know Facebook is not interested how much you spent , have you tried to contact them by using Twitter ? As i see Your Pages are verified which means facebook will be able to help you , By the way i think Twitter is the best way to contact them
Wish you all the best

I’ll take that as a complement

We’ve found a way through. But in the early days, I tried Twitter, and various other places as well. I’ve also had so many random suggestions, different emails to try. We filled out just about every form and available appeal throughout as well. It hasn’t been easy…

Hi all, I just want to drop a quick thank you to the community. I’m still waiting for a positive outcome and I have been made aware of an investigation into the ‘ban hammer’ I received.

In the meantime, just want to keep expressing my gratitude. The Medium article had 1600 reads on Sunday before I posted to Swapd. It’s now had more than 37k views, and coverage on Business Insider. So thanks to @Batman for reaching out on LinkedIn to suggest it and thanks to @Goofy for the boost into Spotlight discussions!

I’ll update again as we go!

I think they have different thresholds and different tiers based on different types of businesses, but at the end of the day it’s more discretionary. Hence it not being publicly available.

I hope you find a solution and everything will end well, as I mentioned I wish you good luck

You clearly don’t get the point, your replies are basically empty and unconstructive. You are basically antagonizing people, like calling @Sonny “little boy”. I am personally not hurt or offended, couldn’t care less about your opinion. Let @Shared continue his story and f… off, this post isn’t about you.
