The group originally had 400K plus followers but due to not posting people have left the group and inactive accounts but the current 72K members are active and when I post I get a lot of people who want to join

Reason for sale don’t need them any more.

That’s not the case.
FB removed people that was invited to the group and had no say if they actually want to be there or not, and changed the way of how group invites work. ( in your case - almost everyone got removed by FB )

I’m not sure the group was very big back in 2015/2016 but since then I hardly posted on there apart from every now and then.

At least ended up with 72K loyal members :slight_smile:
