SWAPD is a trusted middleman service dedicated to offering our users the safest way to buy, sell, or trade items and services of virtual nature. SWAPD opens doors for you to earn and rise to fame in the digital universe by connecting you with vast network of buyers, sellers, and opportunities.
We’re toying with an idea and want to gauge your interest and get some feedback before we dive in. The concept? A SWAPD University, where members could become teachers, mentors, or even run their own mini-university within SWAPD. Here’s how it could work:
The Concept:
Your Own Category: You’d have a dedicated space to share your knowledge—sort of like running your own website—teaching, mentoring, and supporting others in your niche.
Subscription-Based Access: Your category would be gated by a Stripe Subscription for exclusive access.
Profit Split: Like our normal ticket system, SWAPD would take 10%, and you’d keep the rest.
Full Commitment: To keep quality top-notch, we’d expect full dedication from anyone taking on this role.
Why Are We Asking?
Before putting any plans in motion, we want to hear from YOU:
Would you be interested in doing something like this?
What do you think about the idea overall?
If you’d be willing to try, why do you think you’d qualify? What’s your niche, and what value could you bring?
This is still in the brainstorming phase, so your input is super important to us. Whether it’s a thumbs-up, constructive critique, or a full-on pitch for why you’d be perfect, we want to hear it all.
Drop your thoughts below or DM us privately. Let’s see if this is something worth pursuing!
Again, instead of just saying “I’m in” and then potentially bailing when we actually roll this out, take a moment to seriously think about it. What would you offer, and why would people pay for it?
Explain your unique value, your niche, and how you’d create something worth subscribing to. If you’re interested, tell us how you’d make this work and why you’re the right person for the role.
Great Idea, but it’s important that those who sell courses are people with a solid background or a proven track record that confirms the mentor or creator of that mini-university is truly qualified and experienced in the respective field. It shouldn’t turn into something like Udemy, where anyone can offer their course without having proper experience.
As a buyer/seller I could see the following benefits
More Traffic
Vetted Coaches
Great way to tap into SWAPD’s existing community
I also see the these potential negatives/complications:
-Potential chargeback cases from course sales which result in either teachers / students bringing un-necessary drama into the SWAPD community.
Personally, I would also be interested in hearing the vision, if there is one or if in complete startup phase. Also what your unique selling proposition would be compared to some of the Giants in this space like Teachable, Kanjabi, ect.
