I have a quick question for anyone who knows about Facebook’s Instant Articles. My website has great traffic but Facebook did not approve the URL for some reason. My website is NOT an https website. Could this be the reason? Does it matter in Facebook’s Instant Articles if the website is secure or not?

https is not the reason, facebook track how many visitors you are getting from your own facebook page. On basis of that traffic they approve domain, also domain age and how long you are sharing that domain on facebook. but https is not a matter , but if your instant article app is new , you might need https to authorize your app to ingest instant artiicles in your production library. in that case you need https , but if you use rss feed to ingest instant articles https is not required.
