Just wanted to let everyone know that our staff is continuously running into poor audit results, which causes the buyers to back out during checkout. Normally, we wouldn’t care. However, lots of our buyers pick the most trashy of accounts, it seems they don’t bother to look at the properties they’re willing to purchase. While auditing takes some experience, it’s quite easy to weed out the obvious bad properties, but it seems that our buyers don’t care to look for them. This brings us to the point, that the buyers use our checkout system as a process of weeding out bad properties, and since this takes an immense amount of time for our staff (which we do not get compensated for), this has to stop. Sellers take the whole burden of the fee, and they have to deal with cancellations. Albeit, I’d say that a good amount of our sellers aren’t trustworthy and they sugarcoat their properties. We realize that this is a problem, also. However, we will no longer have our checkout system abused by people who just want an audit.
Our staff is currently brainstorming on how to tackle this problem, and we would love to hear any ideas our members may have.
Some of the ideas we had are:
- Paid audits.
- Teaching the community how to weed out bad properties (the basics).
- Placing stricter rules on sellers.
For starters, we will start with number #3. We can require the sellers to list within their topic if they ever engaged in automation or engagement networks. Lying will obviously be a reason for a ban, and since it’s quite easy to check for those things, I believe that should somewhat cut down our problem.
