Warning: Instagram Username Exploit Rumors

We’ve been made aware of circulating rumors about a so-called “trick” or exploit that supposedly allows users to claim any banned Instagram username. Let’s be very clear:

  • This is an exploit, not a legitimate service.
  • Any sellers or buyers caught attempting to use, sell, or trade this method on SWAPD will face immediate account termination.
  • SWAPD only allows Instagram claims and recoveries that are handled through proper and approved channels.

These shortcuts and hacks may sound tempting, but they’re always short-lived and will eventually lead to removals, reversals, or worse — permanent account loss. Engaging in them not only risks your Instagram accounts but also your standing here on SWAPD.

Final word: We will not tolerate the use of exploits, tricks, or blackhat methods in username claims. If you’re offering services, make sure they’re legitimate. If you’re buying, stay away from anyone claiming to have this “exploit.” Also, if the seller can claim something quick and without a problem, it’s probably a good sign the service is tainted.

Stay safe and keep things above board. People engaging in such activities on SWAPD are the reason why we are considered blackhat by many companies/institutions. This needs to stop.

I thought it was fixed?

Still working in some devices!

Patched again.

Are you allowed to discuss this stuff? @SWAPD ?

Or just not no transactions utilizing it on site?

I think this stuff is super interesting informatively, but totally understand the issues that come when buying/selling using it.

You can discuss it, but don’t abuse 3rd party network bugs.

Great decision for buyer safety. Hilarious seeing some diamond sellers trying to push it by claiming it will be handled by a associate lol.

They should be banned immediately. These handles will eventually get banned…

Has this been patched yet? A seller claimed something faced and said they disabled the old account so I assume they did this exploit.
