What tool/SaaS/script/website would you come up with if you had the funds and great devs?

As we get ready for 2025, we’re done with all the SEO crap and throwing money at ads to make SWAPD more visible. We want to focus on you, making things that actually help you out in the social media world. We are not talking about adding features to SWAPD, but about cool tools or apps that could make your life easier when you’re dealing with all that social media stuff.

Express your ideas or problems!

No matter how wild, we would love to hear them. Basically, this topic is for research purposes to see if there is something the community needs (that we can build). Please skip on responding if your ideas are disruptive to social media networks in any way (or break the law).

Thank you!

I would create a prop firm and allow people to fund the firm through crypto.

Be like a bank, if done right you cant lose…

add a keyword based notification feature for buyer requests on swapd.
for example,
if i want notifications for “facebook unban” , i get notifications for such buyer requests only and not get bombarded with thousand other irrelevant niches

For me i face a problem where i deal with new clients or something like that ; lets pretend im buying a client an unban for 3500$ from @mae

my contract with client is 50% upfront only and i cant afford to pay the total price for mae

a website that have 2 sides ; investor and me … the investor pay the 50% left and he get % profit on the total total profit i make with the client

its very complicated but that would help a lot of people

Couple small ideas that may be of value :handshake:

Account Health Checker Tool
A simple API that connects to platforms and provides a look at follower authenticity (percentage of fake/bot followers) and include any other engagement metrics seen as valuable.

This wouldn’t be too hard to set up and would likely add trust for any “curious” non-users or first time account buyers.

Asset Valuation Calculator
Similar to the tool above, a visible high-to-low estimate the value of a social media account based on engagement, niche, and even past marketplace data from SWAPD’s comparable sales.

For example, if an account is listed for $500, the tool would be showing green for lower (a good deal) and red for (high) vs past sales/similar. This could work for domains, businesses, and building it is prob easy with so many valuation calculators out there.

In theory, a “price” low to high x green to red scale, would make sellers price competitively and motivate buyers with visible “good deal” indicators.

Simpler Service-for-Service Trades
SWAPD has a lot of talent across a lot of niches, but doing a service-for-service exchanges isn’t very clear imo. For example, I’m skilled in email marketing but a beginner in social media growth so I’ve done trade deals exchanging these skills, but the process is a bit confusing— ok, who pays, what about splitting fees, or how does the trade work. Some ppl have actually asked if trading could get them banned not knowing if it was allowed at all.
Could be just a niche problem but making this process clearer and easier may encourage trades, and even better, highlighting it as a category could attract more talented marketers who have something cool to contribute.

Lead Magnet Section
Usually for my sites, offering freebies is the #1 driver of traffic, and while SWAPD has a free help or giveaways section, it’s sparse, likely due to a lack of a real incentive. Encouraging people to post valuable free tips, services, or better - free downloads could act as a big user generated lead magnet to attract a lot of targeted visitors. Ofc, non-members would need to sign in or like, comment, etc to access the download x increase signups.

Imo incentivizing this with rewards like ad space or auto bumps for high-performing posts or “helpfulness” ratings could energize a free resource section. Most other communities use some value/vote point systems and give users rewards.

Hope some of these help

So most prop firms work in a demo enviroment.

What if you could create a DAO type fund where people allocate funds for funded traders, there would be an algo trading based on risk and trust level of that funded trader.

So you can per say, invest $100k in this fund and the returns would be secured because of the algo only using money for profitable traders.

The DAO wins, you as the investor wins, and the prop firm wins.

I can go more into detail, but this would be huge. Eventually it would become into a self ran hedge-fund with capital from investors and ran by the companies traders.

Sounds like a legal nightmare from the financial/legislative standpoint :frowning:
