I was going to type that.

We have used Western Union in the past on older sites. Believe it or not, they gave us problems, also. Local clerks refused to pay out the cash despite WU approving the transfer, all because the bank/store thought that “the payment seems suspicious.”

I once sold a promotion via WU (lmao) for about $60. Needed to pick up the money in a local Turkish supermarket. Cashier handed me the $60 :joy:

Ever since, I have always wondered what would have happened if I had to pick up a decent cash amount :joy:

Update

We finally know what went wrong with our main company bank account. Our bank account was frozen shut because of one suspicious wire from a single SWAPD member. We don’t know whether they’re correct or not about the sources of funds being suspicious, but that still doesn’t give them the right to do what they did. Regardless, we expect to have access to our funds and accounts in the upcoming days. So…

I’ve worked with many corporations & I would pick the executives brains & something like this came to my job a several years back. What the company I worked for ended up doing was they bought out this business that was banned from most payment processors due to the nature of its product/service. It had supply and the demand was incredibly high. A couple months later, the business was rebranded, placed under the main corporation, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna, etc approved. So maybe this could be a potential route?

Considering how no bank or anyone will take on this same type of business, if this idea ^ pulls through, Swapd will be the only ones in the market that customers would have financial trust in.

The company that I worked for was worth $1.5B back then, now worth $5B.

According to Empire Flippers, we are worth around 1.7 million :joy: But that estimate was from a year ago. We now have @RandyMarsh pushing sales, so that number had to go up.

That’s interesting. Do you know the company we’re talking about?

You should promote me with a free featured topic listing. Swapd will be valued at way more

Lmaooo well this company wasn’t really worth much either I think! Maybe at most $500k due it it’s sales restrictions, in the beginning my execs were emphasizing how they couldn’t sell at all because essentially they were banned from being able to be paid. That was literally the only thing holding them back. So imagine Swapd 7-8 years later after banks, PayPal, even Klarna approving your payments, this is basically an eBay with people selling Internet Real Estate :raised_hands:

What a nightmare. Sorry to hear. But yes, crypto is the way !

Crypto because otherwise we’re all battling a losing game. This is literally an example of found guilty when innocent yet no matter how much you scream or provide logic, hope is lost.

This world is very sad. Very, very sad.

Will SWAPD no longer be accepting bank wires?

Please read the whole thread, or at least the first post

But in short, don’t worry. We never stopped and never will stop accepting bank wires.

Update: It seems Binance is allowing payments to us, they just give a mini-warning before sending the crypto out.
