SWAPD Service Update: Nigeria

Following our previous announcements and discussions, access to SWAPD is now blocked from within Nigeria.

What this means:

• SWAPD is no longer directly accessible from Nigeria.
• Nigerian users can still access and use SWAPD via VPN.
• Existing Nigerian members remain unaffected and may continue using SWAPD if they were previously whitelisted or access the platform through a VPN.

Please note that the whitelisting period has officially ended. We provided a two week application window, during which only four members requested and received whitelisted access. We are no longer accepting new whitelisting requests.

20K connections blocked. And out of all that traffic over the months/years, we only got a few good members out of that region (can count them on one hand). I think this was the right move.
