How do you add swipe up + links to IG stories?

i’m sure this is a really dumb question, but how do people add swipe up and then links to their IG stories? i have an IG but when i try to add IG stories to it i see no option for adding a link.

also, how do you do it with FB stories?

On IG, the feature becomes available once you hit 10,000 followers.

i have more than 10,000 followers, but i cant see how to do it for some reason. i might be blind or something, but i’m not seeing it.

On IG, you have to have 10K or more followers to have the option for swipe up links, so unless the account has 10k, only way to add clickable link is bio.

Go to your profile from the mobile app and tap Settings.
Tap Account.
At the bottom, tap Switch to Business Profile/Professional Account and select the FB Page you’d like to associate with your Business Profile on IG with.
Make sure your profile is set to Public. Note: Private accounts can’t switch to Business Accounts.
On the Set Up Your Business Profile page, review your business’s contact information, make any changes and tap Done .
