Yo!Why can’t i have my username and should opt for the altenatives?Working in the world wide web sometime helps having a common username..please look at that

Just enlight me please, some of us use same name on almost any socials..kinda like creating a brand, why would it be prohoibited if am the same person/brand and what i do is legit? This also begs to inquire, are the databases shared between SWAPD and HUSTLD?Since my username is not available there and yet am just signing up and claiming it?

  1. If your Swapd username is the same as your Instagram username, someone can contact you outside of Swapd, violating one of the first laws.

  2. You offer a service that I sell for $1,000 but you sell for $500, and we’re the only two providers? And you have a nice, verified, legitimate Instagram profile with 250,000 followers? Then, to get you off the radar, I’ll have you banned from Instagram thus harming you a bit.

What other reasons do you have for staying hidden?

New year new hustles🔥

Because we had a say in that and it isn’t allowed. We don’t want any users trying to claim their standing/reputation from here, as explicitly stated up above.

So this is SWAPD, but:

  • Less compliance

  • Less protection

  • Less accountability

  • More “trust me bro”

OK :man_facepalming:

Not getting the activation email - can you help?

Our apology for the late responses! Going through our DM’s right now, I will assist anyone who needs help.

@porcupine - We believe we handed out the bonuses last night, to the first 100 members. If we missed something, DM me here.

Email verification is not being sent, tried 2 different emails.

Just another platform to sell advertisements once it grows. We are puppets. Why would anyone want to transact on a site that doesn’t have a trusted Escrow process?

Perhaps it’s a way for Swapd to allow for services like IG removals, etc. that are no longer permitted here, but why would they want to have their hands in that?

As far as i am concerned,SWAPD reputation and WWWeb can be different,i mean..my name and branding can be the same, but i might offer services on SWAPD that i do NOT on other platfoms (Not because it’s not legit)Just variation basing on the platform am in (Most of online sellers/buyers are on multiple platforms if we are being honest)…a common name on several related platforms somehow smoothens the trustworthy!I can attest having deals sealed on SWAPD,but they came off site (Other related/similar platforms BUT,because of the reputation the same users had on SWAPD thus i had no issue closing here on site,i believe the same is the most to many. Plenty of deals came and closed on SWAPD but originated OFF SWAPD,so that door is a 50/50% tunnel off of my understanding, why so? I’d 100% rather close a deal with @Alpha or @coehn on @HUSLD.com knowing him/her/it(lol) from SWAPD rather than not being sure if whoever am dealing with on a new @HUSLD.com is a parody etc.!!Why would i trade with @coehn 123 or @Alpha 247IDGAF on @HUSLD.com ?Again, not saying this to seem salty,i LVE (pun intended) SWAPD and the new evil twin but the switch,or rather new whatever is confucius..changing names for some of us is needlessly complicated,NOT personally but for whatever reasons we are doing, considering the amount of other similar platforms and identity proofing we had/have to deal with on a daily, having multiple personalities online for some legit ■■■■ you do online on a daily basis is super depressing, compared to having 1 name/brand/whatever trusted on multiple platforms (coz that’s where we came, built and trusted off!!)

You don’t have to use it if you don’t like the rules. SWAPD has made it prohibited and we will not be changing our stance on that.

Here is an AI summary for those who are interested what @Barker5lime had to say (or should I say translation):

  • Reputation is platform specific, but identity should stay consistent.
A user can have the same name and brand across multiple platforms while offering different services depending on the platform. That does not make those services illegitimate, it is just normal market segmentation.
  • Shared identity builds trust across platforms.
Many buyers and sellers operate on multiple related platforms. When the same username or brand appears across them, it increases trust and reduces fear of impersonation or scams.
  • SWAPD reputation carries weight outside SWAPD.
They have closed deals that started on SWAPD but finished off site or on other platforms, specifically because of the reputation they built on SWAPD. That reputation made counterparties comfortable.
  • They would rather deal with a known SWAPD identity on HUSLD than a new or altered name.
Seeing familiar names like Alpha or coehn on HUSLD feels safer than interacting with slightly modified or random usernames that could be parody or impersonation accounts.
  • Forced renaming or identity changes are confusing and harmful.
Changing usernames or branding across platforms breaks trust, adds unnecessary friction, and creates anxiety, especially when users already juggle identity verification and compliance elsewhere.
  • They are not angry, but confused and frustrated.
They like SWAPD and HUSLD, but do not understand why identity continuity is being disrupted when consistency would help trust and adoption.

One-sentence summary

They are arguing that keeping the same name and identity across SWAPD and HUSLD is critical for trust, reputation transfer, and avoiding impersonation, while offering different services per platform is completely normal and legitimate.
