That’s just the max bid function. You enter a number ($5k for example) and your profile instantly outbids everyone until that threshold is hit. Functionally, you’re indicating that you’ll beat any offer until $5,000.
It’s honestly a pretty cool feature–def useful for someone worried about forgetting to check their bid’s status
