Any aussies or kiwis have the option for them yet? Don’t think it’s a vpn issue. Seems like it hasn’t been officially rolled out and available for purchasing yet?
I’m in AUS, still is saying “not available in my country” even though I’m from Australia & my account is based in Australia.

Thanks! I think it’s rolling out (eg. help pages and info pages being released) but it’s not available for purchase yet. Hopefully in another few hours it will launch!

The only way you can is by clicking on ‘About’ and see when they got verified (everyone before February 2023), but it doesn’t directly state that it was notable though.
Update: that seems to be removed now too, so you can’t recognise it at all anymore
This is going to lead to a huge amount of scams with people pretending to be others.
It’s not hard to photoshop an ID…

So they basically killed a point of verified badge, how in the hell are you supposed to differentiate a kid with 15$ and a real celebrity, this will lead to huge ammount of scams

So if anyone make mark fake id and use fake card to buy then what meta will do becouse every one know photoshop is easy way or maybe the will do live cemra photo?
They will change the rules once public figures and celebs stop advertising on the platform due to scams.
My guess is that meta verified won’t stay blue for long

Try on Facebook clicking on the blue checkmark of fox news, CNN even the weather channel. You can’t. They don’t pull up the meta verified pop up
It’s showing that same description even for notable individuals.
