This is my child. It has paid for me to travel the world, grow my investments far more than my peers, and given me the time and money to pursue postgraduate education. But it is time for me to move on. I will be starting PhD sometime in the next 18 months. Even though I’ve outsourced most of the work, I’d rather just take the paycheck and focus on entrepreneurial pursuits related to my academic niche.
I’ve generated an average of $250k in revenue from this page for the last 4 years or so, this does include getting some agency clients from this page where we’ve done services other than selling ads (such as running ad campaigns). But even passively from shoutouts only it’s a solid 6 figure a year business.
All the followers are real, usually the growth comes and goes, depending on account health and striking lucky with content. Some reels will pull in 30k+ followers by themselves. As you can see the page currently has very good health and our feed and reel content is being pushed out.
We’ve even had some stories get 100k+ reach in the last few months which for a theme page is pretty impressive.
I’m happy to stick around for a few months post-sale to help you transition. We have a team of excellent creators both for feed and reel content, I’ve had a page manager working for me since 2021 who knows how to run the page like the back of his hand, he would be happy to continue in the role if you so choose.
To many of you, this page won’t be worth the purchase. Because it makes good money, I won’t sell it for a discount price, because I outsource most of it, I can get away with not selling it. But its potential is certainly not being maximised. Someone who is dedicated to it and launched some kind of product on it, rather than selling ads, could increase the revenue many times. The only reason I didn’t sell an infoproduct is because I prefer to spend my time in academia.
