Description: I’m selling this really nice three letter account. I’ve gotten this account off my friend, who’s owned it since early 2015 and I can provide proof of such. I would either accept crypto BTC / ETH, or bank transfer. I’m looking for $15000 or best offer.
Alright, how much would a generic three letter Snapchat username usually go for then? Also give me some examples of sales so I know for future reference.
My friend is the one who originally valued it at around 10000 - 15000, not me. If he wants to buy it back then I may as well just wait. He isn’t some random either and has owned quite a few high value usernames over the years.
Brother, of course your friend would appraise the @ generously. He’s the one who sold it to you.
I’ve been in the OG space for nearly a decade at this point (on here and various other forums) and can tell you that you’re pricing a 3L Snapchat OG as if it’s a 3L Instagram (e.g. @/son on IG was listed a month ago at $10.5K asking—not sure if it has even sold yet).
You can listen to your friend and hope a 5-figure offer comes along eventually (whether from him or someone else), or you can get a deal done at a more realistic price.
I didn’t purchase it off him, we did a trade which didn’t require me to pay or trade anything of value.
I trust that you probably have a lot of experience with usernames as well, but my friend doesn’t get involved with them anymore so he was probably unaware of the current value of Snapchat usernames. I’m just saying.
Understood. Well let me know if your friend decides not to repurchase and you’d like me to take this off your hands.
And rest assured I’m not a slimy reseller lowballing to flip this for a profit. I genuinely like the @ and would turn it into a personal/stat account. Just offering what it’s worth, IMO.
