Selling a large social media network in the surfing niche, which includes:
- 209k followers on the largest Instagram page (USA 21.1%, Brazil 19.1%, Australia 5.1%)
- 95k followers on the main branded Instagram page (USA 22.7%, Brazil 16, Australia 6.8)
- Two smaller Instagram admin accounts (34k, 12.4k - USA 23.4 & 16%)
- 88,400 followers on Facebook (same name as website & 95k IG page) - 26% USA
- The website - with ~110 human-written articles
The audience is niche-specific (surfing/outdoor) and built organically over time.
History:
Site started March 2021
Social media network built over time and new accounts added.
Website affiliate income previously peaked around $1,500/month (largely passive) but as below, has fallen off during updates and lack of time invested on my behalf.
Instagram sponsorships brought in over $1,000+, with clear potential for significantly more (sponsorships were inbound; very little active outreach was done).
Reason for sale:
Over the past 12–18 months, I haven’t had the time to properly manage or grow the network, due to multiple business projects and family commitments. Relaunching was considered but realistically isn’t viable with current priorities. It has essentially therefore lay dormant, despite best intentions.
Important notes:
- The network has not been actively maintained for over a year. Engagement reflects that.
- Affiliate relationships can be reactivated but require some outreach.
- The audience is still there, but a new owner would need to resume posting and reengagement efforts to maximize potential again.
