Please don’t let scammers back… swapd is the best community online imo. I’ve only ever been scammed onit once and the person got banned.

They don’t deserve any second chance imo.

We’re not allowing scammers back in.

Wth swapd :rage:

Yes?

what’s the most common reason people are banned on site (other than scamming)

trying to get people off-site?
insulting staff?

We’re pretty good at accepting insults. We hardly ban anyone for insulting us unless you’re a special case like @Sm0lburger.

It’s usually for the following reasons:

  1. Deceptive practices
  2. Promising to refund if things go wrong, but never refund
  3. Insulting/pestering other members
  4. Reselling services of other SWAPD members at a premium
  5. Doing something repeatedly after staff asked NOT to do
  6. Offsite
  7. Offsite with attempt to hide (this is an insta perma ban)

Great Website, wish the best for this team

I don’t remember going against the policy only For me to come around, though I mistakenly posted an ad on the general chat, but I was corrected immediately by a random user online which I apologized for

How are any of these reasons acceptable after 14 days?

It literally goes against what makes this place great and separate from BHW and other sites that take abuse regularly.

I don’t think this is about forgiveness as much as it is to try and increase traffic.

Anyone that’s worth their reputation will eventually be allowed in through enough social proof and vouches. Even if it takes years.

Hope you guys don’t take offense to this — just sharing my perspective.

Again, we are not letting in people who caused any sort of problems as far as scams go. The list of offenses allowed were listed above, not going to repeat myself. And yes, part of the reason is to increase sales, so? What’s wrong with that? May I remind you, we do forgiveness programs 1-2 times per year, whether sales are going good or not. We’ve been doing this for six years, and the ceiling didn’t crumble.

Eight more days and then we turn into snubs again.

Five more days.

Two more days.

This program has now ended.
