Follow / Unfollow or potentially mass DM’s. Mother Child for select accounts. I have an agency of 1000+ clients on these and that’s all their is. Organic, targeted growth happens by getting other people to see your account through notifications. Anyone who claims they can get 1000’s of high quality people to follow an account is lying. IG has throttled what can be done in the app. Mass DM’s are now less effective.

Just to set the tone here, I have owned a very large IG growth agency for 5-6 years. My client based fluctuates between 1000 to 3000 at any given time with the primary growth driver of a manual follow/unfollow product, I run big celebrity giveaway campaigns that I own, and 3 years ago us and some colleagues moved to mass dm’s after mother child was too expensive / unstable.

Can Mass DMs work? Yes. But not at scale. Scale means for the masses. I have and continue to send out 5-10M dms per week and have data to prove that over-all things are not as they were even 3 months ago.

A) Saturation - panels and NFTs have screwed this up. People are getting so many mass dms that is simply doesn’t work as effective. Effective to me is the quality you get back from Mass DMs and that is not happening anymore (at scale)

B) IG has constantly made changes that doesn’t allow what we (me and my collective colleagues) could do when we first started. As a matter of fact, just the other day they figured out something to screw with notifications we were using not to mention mass dms often go into the hidden request now.

C) Costs. If you are buying cheap mass dms you are getting ripped off. Account creation and maintenance matter and IG has made it extremely difficult to create quality accounts at the costs we used to get. Sure, anyone can create fresh accounts from a panel that die when sent, but the real deal mass dms of the old - GONE.

The problem with todays environment is that clients want results from 5 years ago and want to pay cheap prices. Getting real, targeted, quality people to follow a random account barely exists, but there is a narrative being pushed by companies that it does, when in fact, they are merely sending bots to accounts.

The whole system is inflated and F’d up.

Growth only happens if a real, quality user gets a notification in app that your account exists and it’s then up to them to follow your account. There isn’t anything outside of what I mentioned and if someone says they have a ‘secret’ method, they are lying.
