Bypass Paypal Phone Verification When Logging in New Device

Hi friends.

Paypal doesn’t support my country, so I opened a Paypal account with my name few months ago from my friends phone who lives in Paris. Everything was ok, until recently my friends phone broke. He got a new phone and we tried to login on a new device and Paypal is asking to send sms to the phone number that is used when registering. The problem is that the number is expired long ago, maybe someone already bought it.

So my question is how can I bypass this? If I contact customer support, will they ask to verify my identity? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Something very similar happened to me. Tried everything yet nothing worked. Lost the first $100 that I earned online as account got locked.

Yeah, trying hardly, still no success. Chatted with US customer support, they told me to call Paypal France. Now, sent message them via Messenger, waiting for a reply.

So, I called Paypal France, after 5th time, my account is fully functional. There is no other ways than calling.
