All I’ll say is I definitely underestimated the value of the God mode prizes. I think most everyone did, which is why there was hardly any competition.

And this is why there are no more contests for now. Most of you users are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (insert curse word here) lazy.

We have almost 50K members, usually only 3-4 users (really) participate in our contests, WHERE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ARE GIVEN AWAY.

Well, the “most-liked person” contest attracted quite a few people, if I remember correctly. But participation obviously dwindled toward the end.

This time around, it was tough for anyone to gauge value because there was no precedent for public SWAPD username sales.

Many people just won’t put in the effort unless they’re 100% sure it’ll be fruitful.

So, as silly as it is, a lower-value but guaranteed USD prize will probably entice more people than a less obvious but potentially higher-value one.
