If they were de-indexed, the author can sometimes resubmit the article under a new link. It is rare though.

If the same link/url reappeared, I think OP should take care of it.
Hate to be that guy but sometimes methods fail and the service is no more.
Last year āProfessorFacebookā was the man for FB/IG unbans, then somehow became a ghost. Went down hill after that unfortunately.
