I believe in the beginning of building an account up you’ll need to use the hashtags in your niche so you can target people who actually like that stuff.
And I believe it will categorize your account in that specific niche for people who already like that type of niche so… but once you have a good following and get on explore easily then you probably won’t need to use hashtags any more and your content will still get shown to people who are interested in it
There are just pros and barely cons in my opinion but I’ve heard you can’t use the same set of hashtags on every post like you have to always use different ones to avoid getting shadow banned, I personally can’t confirm it though
Yes, Hashtags are important but i would say that you shouldn’t use more than 10 hashtags
