Bumping to see what changed over the year 
From our personal experience, the value of Instagram accounts has dropped. By a lot. We blame market saturation, everyone is a flipper these days. Whatās your opinion?

I agree on that, one year ago I had to pay 300-400$ for a 20K page with decent engagement and like 12% USA. As of now, I get 10+ inquiries a day begging me to buy their 40K page for 200$ with the same metrics as the 20K page mentioned before, because there are no upfront costs, loads of people start a page, which drives down the price.

a good example of that would be Most of Swapd OG sellers Instagram shops which are way overpriced, selling bad/inactive accounts for ridiculous prices. (only upside is that it comes from a trusted seller, which with the changes to Account recovery is much more valuable nowadays)
The value of IG pages has definitely gone down due to saturation, but with that saturation, thereās a lot of new page owners who ask for āsentimentalā prices with no correlation to the Page metrics/Niche
I still see a lot of value in Instagram pages with the Right Metrics. and if you own a good network of pages in a niche you can still do major dmg.

Agreed.
I donāt think that price gone down , there are a lot of sellers & IG account and many of 'em are trying to sell as fast as they can. for example , our top seller , Coehn. if we check his prices we will see that prices are still good.
Right now , we can see many accounts & new ( noob ) sellers and we are able to get discounts , that why price is down otherwise IG price is still good 
I am talking about 2020 - 2021 y.
Give a few months , weāll be able to earn money through IG reels and IG price will go up 
correct me if Iām wrong.
Now we talking about reels bonus, has anyone else not received their instagram reels play bonus? I should have received something like 2000$, but havenāt received a single dime

instagram (social media stats in general) will continue to lose value every single year.
simple reasonā¦ people now know about influencer marketing, heavily saturated. everyone is doing it. every account is littered with promotions way too much, audiences are numb to it. I think the Facebook stuff the last few years really brought to light the whole ads thing.
I canāt see how promotions on (say a meme page, or travel/vacation account) would be a worthwhile investment besides bringing more active users to your page to try to build your own fanbase.
take TikTok for example, you see all the time how the brands that flourish these days arenāt even brand accounts, they are people talking about the ups and downs of their business, creating a relationship with the audience.
I cant imagine dropping 5-6 figures on a āhugeā instagram account as an investment when you could leverage that money in ways that would probably help you 100x more
I would personally disagree, Coehn plays the long game and his prices reflect that as a lot of those pages sit on the market for a year.

How much a page can earn is 50% page quality and 50% how good of a marketer you are.
People expect money to fall in their lap just from the follower number.

i love this articleā¦ beautiful break down and valid points. i personally will pay double for the right name with a blue tick. then low ball offer for a blue tick that has a female name as i could never use that being a guyā¦ and depending how much appears on google for that blue tick name will discourage me from buying it as fans will know thats not really me behind that blue tickā¦ so if you have any blue tick instgram accounts feel free to pass them my way ill check them out and if its a good fit i will gladly take it out of your hands even if i have to have a contract open for 30 days while saving up the money making payments lol have a beautiful night everyone. much love to swapd for bringing us all together

Instagram accounts are drop-dead, unless you have 200 accounts in various niches which youāre bound to sell.
i am assuming a lot of buyers nowdays except the account to make money on itself or something, cause i am damn sure instagram has a lot of value. i have 700k dog page that makes me easily $2k a month and this is without activating reels bonuses yet or dropshipping myself
