How to create a proper listing?

Recently, we’ve seen a large increase in rejected and unlisted topics. Most of these issues happen because members skip important requirements, choose the wrong category, or submit incomplete information.

This guide is here to help you avoid those mistakes and save time before creating a listing on SWAPD, part #1.

1. Choose the Correct Category

Always double-check the category before posting your topic. Using the wrong category is one of the most common reasons topics get rejected. If you are unsure where your listing belongs, review similar approved listings first before posting.

2. Do NOT Skip Required Information

When creating a listing, every required field and question must be answered properly. Missing information will usually result in your topic being rejected or unlisted until corrections are made.

This applies to all categories. If the template asks for specific screenshots, analytics, revenue proof, demographics, ownership verification, or additional details, include them from the start.

3. Using AI? Review Everything Before Posting

Many members now use AI tools to help write listings. That is completely fine, but you are still responsible for the topic. We’ve seen many AI-generated listings where required questions were removed, skipped, or rewritten incorrectly.

Before posting:

  • Re-read the full template
  • Make sure every question is answered
  • Verify screenshots are attached
  • Confirm nothing important was removed by AI

4. Common YouTube Listing Mistake

One of the biggest issues we’ve seen recently involves YouTube channel listings. If you are selling a YouTube channel, you MUST include a demographic screenshot showing the Top Countries (lifetime) analytics data.

Listings without this screenshot will usually be unlisted until the required information is added. Don’t wait for staff to request it later, include it from the beginning.

5. Repeated Low-Quality Topics May Lead to Restrictions

Creating incomplete, low-effort, or misleading topics repeatedly creates unnecessary delays for both staff and buyers.

Please take a few extra minutes to review your listing properly before posting. A complete and well-structured topic gets approved faster and creates more trust with buyers.
