I was searching for a while to figure out how to add the direct DM button with the text “Send a private message” for a while and all Google articles were dead leads as well as everyone tried to tell me that they could do it for like $1k, after a bit I found out it takes 2 seconds to do so here is the tutorial for anyone looking to do the same:

Go to https://twiteridfinder.com/ and search your Twitter @. Once you search you should see the “Twitter ID” column where you can copy your Twitter ID.

Once you have your Twitter ID, you will paste that ID to the end of this URL: https://twitter.com/messages/compose?recipient_id=
You will paste the ID # after the “=”. -
Post your tweet with the link at the end of the Tweet.
