@lynda - Don’t spend that much, I mean not so fast. Try this. I’m glad you brought this to attention of the community.
Since you have already put a non human pfp. You must have been good to go. But, since you said this solution is NOT working, you must find a different solution. Because the reason might be different.
For example you said, in January you got banned 10 times, was it Celeb impersonation each time? If not different ban reasons have different reasons. To be give you an understanding… Account Integrity has 6 sub types that I’ve seen until now. All are different which is determined through a “READ MORE ABOUT THIS RULE” button.
Looking like Selena wouldn’t take someone down.
I would advise you to never appeal them yourself.
Also if you can tell me what did it state in the Read more about this rule window, then I can tell you a SOLUTION. For free of course, as it’s Unbanned rn, Just DM me.

@Teal is right, sometimes changing just email solves the problem of Account Integrity suspensions.
Thank you for your help! When I click on ‘learn more,’ I see 3 reasons:
- Creating an account that looks like it belongs to a celebrity,
- Using a famous person’s photo for deceptive purposes,
- Creating content that pretends to speak for a public figure, like a politician.

It seems like your account is being banned because the owner looks a lot like Selena Gomez but I believe someone is specifically targeting you and consistently trying to get your account banned.
To avoid being banned again, I recommend not using any solid color or black profile picture. In fact, the best move would be to remove the profile picture entirely and leave it as the default, which is actually the hardest to get banned for. Many famous entities, like @ishowspeed on IG, use a blank profile picture, so it’s not a bad look and could help with the bans.
After that, switch your account to a business account and verify it under the “Digital Creator” category. Business meta verification includes advanced impersonation protection, which could help a lot.

Legacy verification isn’t just more than enough—it’s the best thing you could do for an Instagram account. If you get it, you are never ever getting banned, 1001% sure. But remember, you need to be famous with good PR to qualify for it. Once you’re legacy verified, there’s no need to remove your profile picture. Even if you use a real photo of Selena after getting verified, you’re still not getting banned lol.

just put a black pfp and change username for a while
we did it and she was banned 41 times in January, 13 times in February, it’s a record 
never seen before… we don’t even have time to do the legacy verified because the account is banned quickly
