I need help please (IG)

I need some advice about Instagram because I’m dealing with a very peculiar situation.

I have a friend who is the spitting image of Selena Gomez. She looks a lot like her, and she has managed to gain a lot of followers — she has 170k followers and has never had any issues.

Unfortunately, since the beginning of the year, her account has already been suspended 8 times. We don’t really know the exact reason, but personally, I think someone is trying to get her account banned.

But if I’m wrong, and Instagram is banning her because she looks like Selena Gomez, does anyone have advice on how to protect her account? It’s only January, and her account has been banned nearly 10 times, even though she’s never had problems before.

If anyone can help, l’d be really grateful. She’s already tried subscribing to Meta Verified and using a black profile picture, but nothing is working — she’s still being banned for “authenticity” and “integrity.”

You can try changing pfp of account like you can put blank pfp

dont put a black profile picture or smth use something else for example cat/dog etc

What do you mean by a blank profile picture? A white profile picture? A transparent .png profile picture?

Yes, I was thinking about that solution, but it would be a last resort :sob: it’s expensive.

That topic has nothing to do with your situation though. Delete human pfp, solid color is fine, go private.

ah ok, since someone advised me to do meta-verified stuff, I thought your topic said it wasn’t necessary to do that

and what you advise me I have already tried but unfortunately it did not work either :frowning:

I had these issues too

Unban → log out all devices → disconnect all accs in account center → Log in with new device only and use new IP → change email and phone nr.
