Identifying Meta Verified accounts | 100% working method

Hey everyone,

Here is a quick guide on a method I found which seems to be 100% working for identifying people who are verified through Meta Verified.

Follow these steps:

  • Follow the accounts you want to check if they are Meta Verified or Legacy Verified
  • Go to a random account and click on “Report”
  • Click on “It’s pretending to be someone else”
  • Click on “Someone I know”
  • Type the name of the account that you want to check

If the blue badge appears next to the account, then it’s Legacy Verified. If the blue badge doesn’t appear there, it’s Meta Verified.

Please note that this method has been tested on Android, iOS and Google Chrome PC. As of today, it works on Android and iOS, but not on Google Chrome where the blue badge appears for Meta Verified & Legacy Verified accounts.

I actually tried your method which is pretty similar but i couldn’t find my account in the list which would mean it’s Meta Verified, but it’s actually Legacy Verified. So i came to the conclusion it was not 100% reliable

Is not work for all but 99% work correct
