Looking for a small help.
My own brother has lost access to his IG account as he was logged out out of the blue moon and when he tried logging back in, the code is sent to his GMAIL ID to which he no longer has access. He has just 1300 followers but 1200 posts.
Looking for help if anyone can help by sending the reset password link to new Gmail ID and replacing the inaccessible Gmail ID with the new mail ID.
Would be a great favour.

Replacing the inaccessible Gmail account with his new e-mail address would likely require internal support. If he doesn’t have access to the current email or original email associated with his Instagram account, his best bet (aside from paying a service provider on here) would likely be to contact Instagram directly.
He might try the hacked account support form. Instagram’s website says, “Note: If you don’t have access to the username, email address, or phone number associated with your account, visit this page and follow the on-screen instructions.”
I would have your brother complete that form on a device that he previously used to access the Instagram account he is currently locked out of. Instagram may reach out to him and ask for some information to verify that he owns the account (e.g., if your brother has pictures of himself on his account, they may ask him for a selfie with a piece of paper displaying a code or something similar).
