Install Threads In Europe | Works on any country

So you want to install Threads by Meta but live outside the U.S. like me?

You could try and change your iOS App Store region - but that requires a U.S. credit card

You could try a VPN but those just straight up don’t work for this, the App Store region will still be set to your native country, not the USA

The answer?

SELF-SIGNED APPS

As we know, Apple only allows apps to be installed via the App Store

UNLESS

You’re an iOS developer or know of a service that will sign an app for you as a developer

That’s where AppDB and SigningCerts come in

Here’s the basic process you’re going to go through

  1. Register Your UDID: The first step is to register your device’s Unique Device Identifier (UDID) with SigningCerts.com. Just go to the website and click “register UDID.” This will allow you to get a signing certificate for your device. SigningCerts may download a management profile to your iPhone, simply go to Settings where you’ll see a tab saying “profile added”, click that and click allow

  2. Link Your Device: After registering your UDID, you need to link your device to the AppDB services by associating it with your email address. This will allow AppDB to install apps on your device. Go to Appdb.to on your device and select “link device.” It will install a profile also, go back to Settings and approve the profile.

  3. Choose a Plan: SigningCerts.com offers two plans: Standard and Premium. The Standard plan allows you to install up to 10 apps per week using AppDB, while the Premium plan allows for unlimited app installations. Both plans come with 365-day support and revocation protection.

  4. No Revokes Guarantee: Sometimes, Apple revokes certain certificates. SigningCerts.com uses anti-revoke technology to prevent your apps from being revoked. If your certificate ever does get revoked, it will be replaced for free.

  5. Install Threads: Go to the AppDB.to website and look for the “New Apps” section near the top. Threads should be one of the first ones there. Click the icon, scroll down until you see “install” and click the green install button beside one of the sources.

  6. IF THE APP DOESN’T INSTALL - Go to THIS LINK on your iPhone and download the Threads IPA

  7. Then go to AppDB.to, click the menu with your device name top left, and select “Install Custom Application (MyAppStore)”

  8. Here there’ll be an upload button, click it, select “files” and choose your Threads IPA you just downloaded, click upload and let it install
