I’m considering purchasing an IG account, however I’ve noted that many do not come with the OG email. Is this not risky? Can they not regain access using the OG email?
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can guide me on how to safely buy and retain an Instagram account without the OG email.
Correct. ^ On other platforms like YouTube it doesn’t matter. But, on IG you’d have to be very careful. And I won’t even suggest getting it from a trusted member here too. Because most of the times they are either reselling it and are NOT the first owner of the account OR they are also being the middleman for someone else off-site.
So, in that case, things can go south and you being a new member here would need to prove a lot to Staff about how it got stolen away from you after ticket have been closed for days as they steal it back when it has been a month or more.
So, First of all, It’s only better to take them with OG Email only (which is the first ever mail that was registered on the account).
Pro tip : Use tag og-email to refine and search for accounts with only OGE. Specially in the case of IG.
Secondly, If you STILL like an account then buy it from a reputable seller (I’d suggest VIP member and beyond that too with atleast 50 reviews or so… I mean you can judge how serious a seller is, although it proves nothing as I’ve seen people scamming even if they are DC. And, members who’ve been loyal here since 2017 and they’re not even VIP yet)
So if you buy it from the Vouched & Reputable seller here then, ask them if they are the Original owner or not. Request them to prove that they own the email, even if they are an Millionaire Club (MC) member, they won’t get frustrated over this because it’s in best interests of both parties.
So, if they prove that they OWN the OGE themselves but for some reason can’t give the access to it (It being a personal email for them, as most didn’t know the significance of OGE pre-covid) then you’re good to go.
If they say, they don’t have it or prove it you. Chances are they are also re-selling it.
I’m glad and you’re welcome. If you find it useful consider marking my response as “solved” through the options below that response. So, that it also helps others although people can still reply to your topic and give more inputs ‘cause it won’t close it.
@upthehat in occassion you really want to take the risk and purchase. You must ad 2fa in the account. Downloaf 2fa app. Login the instagram account in your phone app not browser. Then set 2fa in the account. Any attempt to change the password or email will require 2fa code
