Yeah, not getting my hopes up here . We’re just aiming for a small piece of the pie—never intended this to be the next OF (that’s a long shot!). Still, thanks for your insight! Every bit of experience helps!
May I pick your brain? May I know:
Your site (domain) that failed
The back end you’ve used
Payment processor
Promotion methods (if possible, I want to know why it failed)
I currently run a TikTok agency. I’m also photographer. Not sure if any of those resources align but even if they don’t, I’m also interested in investing.
I’d like to know if Lusty plans to expand the traditional role of marketing clothing, brand recognition, and any other form of modeling before corporate/influencer modeling and Onlyfans take over.
Global demographic data shows that we will have an increasingly worse economy. Traditional jobs will return, while merit in online following will be diminished.
Ironically, it’s quite similar to swap in the sense that escrow deals would be quite popular among users. Removing the corporate gateway would allow organic discussion.
You mention Onlyfans, but neither Fiverr, UpWork, nor Instagram offers a simple means for a few models to market a product for a small business.
Which is the leading trend. Every man wants to start a business. This will continue as the economy declines, as will the demand for simple modeling work.
Lastly, this is fundamental. What is the policy regarding agencies? If the site allows them, the agencies will destroy the site.
An agency is actively harmful if done in the manner I explained. Psychologically, what effect does a woman have on a group of men?
Competition.
Agencies kill this effect and monopolize the market.
My two cents since I’ve been considering the same, but more based on how quickly the Onlyfans market is dying and what will replace it—or, rather, what the economy will allow to replace it.
Right now we’re only hoping for going live with as few bugs as possible Nothing else matters for now. Merch/brand won’t matter if there are no funds to back it.
OFM ended when Tate made it the new trend and ruined a generation of women.
Onlyfans is an incredibly liberal business (or uses a liberal business model).
You can’t compete with it unless you use a conservative model, which would no longer resemble Onlyfans.
Aside from that, you’re spot on. It’s not a business that you can enter quickly. It’s a monopoly; only a long-term business model will be practical.
Never aim to copy Onlyfans. Aim to do the opposite of what it offers while still achieving the psychological effect it has that makes it so profitable.
What color is your OF clone site, @MrMoneySmart? Because unless you have some actual experience, I am not interested in hearing opinions. Because if you don’t have past experience, your opinion is as good as mine.
So far, I’ve had two users here who created their OF clones (that failed), and they’re telling me what works and doesn’t work. If they had it figured out, why not apply it to their project? In addition, they both bailed when I tried to ask more questions that COULD ACTUALLY help us out. Some people say agencies are needed, others call them evil. So, I can safely assume I will not get vision ideas here. I can only collect the info and conclude my own route. People who wish to follow OUR vision are free to join!
