There seems to be a major IG exploit going on for rare OG usernames
Had many clients report their accounts have been stolen or disabled

Yes it’s a major issue right now. Has been happening to a ton of clients and hopefully they resolve it soon!
Yes this almost happened to me a few days ago, I noticed as soon as it happened as I was logged out everywhere. Was able to recover quickly & thankfully my username was not stolen. I have heard they just patched- really hope that is accurate and I hope Meta reverses any handles or profile changes that occurred to users as a result. So reckless from Meta.
They took thousands of usernames. It’s patched now. Be careful buying any OG handles.
Yes I think 1000s of usernames have been stolen
Meta really need to sort their ■■■■ out and reverse this damage immediately

Changing the username on Instagram is a very risky service, I wouldn’t sell this to my customers
