Hi guys, I forgot my gmail password and cannot reset it.
When I go to password reset, it gives me 2 options: “2 Step Verification Phone” and “Recovery Phone”. I no longer have access to the number for “Recovery Phone” but I still have the “2 Step Verification Phone”.
I select “2 Step Verification Phone” and it texts me the code. I enter the code.
After entering the code from the text, it says it has sent a code to the same email that I am trying to recover. Obviously, I cannot not access that email, it’s the one I’m trying to reset the password for.
If I select “try another way”, it gives me the following message:
You didn’t provide enough info for Google to be sure this account is really yours. Google asks for this info to keep your account secure.
If possible, when signing in:Use a device where you’ve signed in before Use a familiar Wi-Fi network, such as at home or work
Can anyone help me out?
