[Never Before Seen] Editorial Playlisting Service

Editorial playlists vs Third Party playlists

  1. Editorial: Playlists that are owned/curated by the actual streaming platform (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Youtube, etc.)

  2. Third Party: Playlists that are individually owned and operated by people that have no affiliation with the actual platform

What is the difference?

  • Editorial Playlists are the holy grail of streaming platforms. They typically have 6 figure follower counts all the way up to 8 figure follower amounts. These are usually niche-based and lead to massive exposure and a massive increase in organic streams.

  • Third-Party Playlists are the playlists you see most companies offering. They are most typically botted and almost always bad for your algorithm. I recommend to all of the artists I work with to stay away from these paid playlists.

Have you ever wanted to get your music on an editorial playlist?

  • The harsh truth is, if you aren’t a notable artist with strong financial backing and a solid team on your side, you will most likely never land one of these placements. (however, I have seen some people get lucky!)

What I am offering:

  • GUARANTEED EDITORIAL PLAYLISTING!!!

Pricing:
$25,000-$50,000 (Pricing is on a case by case basis, as this is a complex service)

FAQ:

  • How can you offer this?

Exclusive connections at major record labels. I will not be more specific than that for privacy reasons.

  • TAT:

4-8 weeks

  • Do you guarantee any specific streaming platforms or number of placements?

We can only aim for certain platforms, I am guaranteeing at least one placement on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, or Youtube. However, there is a high possibility of receiving multiple placements across all platforms

All countries, if you are wanting to target countries other than the U.S then we could most likely secure multiple placements. Most of my clients are U.S based and typically the placements have been in multiple tier 1 based countries.

It took a lot of planning and pull to be able to guarantee this service. Most likely the reason why it has never been offered.

how long do you foresee this service being available?

It’s sustainable for the time being, but this is the entertainment industry and things are quite sporadic so I honestly can’t give you an exact timeline.

good point lmao, are you able to go for specific playlists in a genre or do you kind of have to get what you can?

All placements will certainly be niche-relevant. I can push for certain playlists/platforms, but I will not guarantee that.

Amazing service, GLWS! @SXI
