New AI Tools Are Coming to SWAPD (BETA) - Introducing Recommendations!

New AI Tools Are Coming to SWAPD

We are starting to introduce a few AI powered tools around the site. The first one is already live in Buyer Requests.

When someone opens a request asking who can get something done, the tool checks active listings, recent activity, user rank, and, when available, recent successful transactions for that type of service. It then shares a short list of providers who may be a good fit.

Have something you need done? Use the Buyer Requests category and clearly explain what you are looking for. Need a particular social assets? Let @system find it for you. The better the details, the better the recommendations can be.

The goal is simple: help buyers who want a quick answer find people who can deliver, while giving more visibility to active sellers. We expect this to make it easier to start deals and boost sales across the marketplace.

This is the first of several AI tools we are testing. More to come.

P.S. The system runs checks once per day, so don’t expect an instant response.

CHANGELOG

UPDATE 1.0

  • Odd Services category will never get recommended
  • Safety Concern members do not get recommendations
  • If your success ratio falls below 4/10, you will not get recommended.

UPDATE 1.1

To reduce unnecessary @mentions and notification spam, we have moved recommendations to private messages. Buyers will now receive available options directly in their inbox instead of in a public post.

One more thing: The system is fresh, so its not taking in all the data just yet. But after a few weeks the recommendations will start getting better.

Nice move fr, this is a solid addition.

Will probably need a few updates here and there to get it working perfectly, but definitely a good step forward. Keep it up

Great move!

We will probably switch to DMing the buyer recommendation vs posting public, then.

UPDATE 1.1

To prevent mass @tag spam, and to stop @win from crying, we have switched the recommendation model to PMs. From now on, buyers will receive a private message with avail options vs a public post.

I can’t wait to see if this will genuinely boost sales. In theory, it should, because most buyers are lazy to search. This feature is too good to be free, if it starts working the way we think it will.

Amazing

.. I mean I’ve been auto-bumping most of my WTB threads as it’s hard to find sellers who are actively doing their service.

Would be interesting to still keep the replies in public & notify the seller, so other buyers are informed too.

Yes but we can already predict some sellers won’t like revealing their sales data to the public every day.
