One of the things we’ve always wanted SWAPD to be known for is organization (and it’s currently NOT doing that). As the marketplace continues to grow, we’ve started noticing more and more listings being squeezed into categories that weren’t really designed for them. They technically fit… but only because there wasn’t a better place.
That changes today.
We’ve introduced several new categories to give these opportunities a proper home and make browsing the marketplace much easier for everyone.
The list:
Advertising Advertising > Ad Accounts Digital Intelligence Corporate Services Advertising > Clipping Marketplace Commerce Marketplace Commerce > Amazon Marketplace Commerce > eBay Marketplace Commerce > Etsy Publisher & Partner Programs Hire
Advertising
Advertising has grown well beyond traditional ad campaigns. This new category is dedicated to advertising related opportunities such as influencer campaigns, clipping services, advertising accounts, brand placements, sponsored promotions, and other forms of paid distribution. If it’s designed to get a product, service, or brand in front of an audience, chances are it belongs here.
Marketplace Commerce
Selling on online marketplaces has become an entire industry of its own. Whether you’re operating on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or another major marketplace, these opportunities deserve their own space instead of being scattered throughout SWAPD.
To kick things off, we’ve launched dedicated sections for:
- Amazon
- eBay
- Etsy
If we see enough activity, we’ll continue expanding Marketplace Commerce with additional platforms in the future.
Publisher & Partner Programs
This is one I’m particularly excited about.
The internet is filled with exclusive publisher platforms, creator programs, monetization networks, and partner ecosystems, yet they never really fit anywhere on SWAPD. Whether you’re dealing with YouTube Partner, Twitch Partner, Google AdSense, MSN Partner Hub, Apple News, Mediavine, Ezoic, or similar platforms, they finally have a dedicated home.
More Coming Soon
These additions are only the beginning. We’ll continue monitoring how members use these new sections and expand them as needed. The goal isn’t to create dozens of empty categories. It’s to build dedicated homes for communities that are already active on SWAPD and make them easier to discover.
As always, we welcome your feedback. If there’s an entire niche you think deserves its own category, let us know. Many of SWAPD’s best ideas have come directly from the community, and we’d like to keep it that way.
