I get @ricardogarcia’s point, if he said he’d open the ticket then the buyer already communicates with the client. Now he has to tell the client it will be more.
I shouldn’t be inserting myself in issues that don’t concern me, but the onus is on the seller to deliver on a pledge that he has made, regardless of how charitable that pledge may seem.
No one is required to provide any services at a discount. But stringing people along—and then telling them they’re “bashing” you when they confront you for seemingly reneging on your pledge—doesn’t seem like good conduct.
