SECURITY ALERT: Mass Account Attack — Enable 2FA Immediately

SWAPD has detected a large-scale automated attack targeting user accounts. The attackers are testing passwords across numerous profiles, and approximately 15 accounts have been compromised so far, including accounts belonging to VIP members. Fortunately, we caught the activity early.

The email address salon13001300@gmail.com was observed in connection with the compromised accounts. If you see this address anywhere on your account, do not contact it. Change your password immediately, enable two-factor authentication, log out all other sessions, and notify SWAPD staff.

Our aggressive IP throttling and automated protections have slowed the attack to a crawl. However, no security system can fully protect accounts using passwords such as 12341234, names, birthdays, or credentials reused from other websites.

To protect yourself:

  1. Enable 2FA immediately.
  2. Use a strong and unique password.
  3. Never reuse your SWAPD password elsewhere.
  4. Review active sessions and remove unfamiliar devices.
  5. Never share passwords or verification codes.

If you use a weak or recycled password, change it now. Do not wait until your account is compromised and then complain that you were hacked. Account security is a shared responsibility, and 2FA is your strongest protection.

Take this warning seriously.

Should I add passkey ? @swapd to how much extent you are hacked.

The only thing hacked here is your brain. Cracking passwords isn’t being hacked, its users with dumb passwords being exploited, for being dumb. Google is your friend. We already told you what to do.

@Ayesha thought we were hacked and decided to microwave her laptop to cover tracks.

I trust you anyways and your security besides lame jokes. But the worst part is if my account gets compromised, you won’t ask me to upload my id card photo and a live face verification …ugh.

UPDATE

The noob virgin password cracker contacted us from mohaad.bkh12@gmail.com and claims he cracked 400 accounts. After checking, he is somewhat correct. We’ve identified around 200 accounts with weak passwords that were taken over (now secured). 99% of them are trash accounts from users who haven’t used SWAPD for years. Either way, this guy wanted an 8000 USD reward for (I am not even sure what) returning the accounts?

We played along :D
He is currently waiting for the deposit of 8000 USD via BTC to this address: 39gJCR6YrwpSx5VoRyfvn8WgvDiARJnduc

Either way, we know he visits SWAPD and we know he is reading this. So please make fun of him right now!
