Alright people, heads up. Soon you won’t be allowed to post your own user status (VIP, Millionaire, Partner, Trusted, etc) in your listing titles. When we roll out SWAPD 3.5 (either late this week or early next week), this rule goes live.
SWAPD 3.5 will automatically show your user status on the index on auto-pilot once the new update goes up. We’re still deciding how exactly. It might be a small icon, might be a nice badge, but either way, it’s handled for you.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS
Too many titles like “I AM MILLIONAIRE VIP TRUSTED SELLER” cluttering the site. It’s ugly, repetitive, and worst of all, it kills Google rankings.
Even after the October Google update, SWAPD still ranks fairly well. But those spammy titles filled with random brag words drag everyone down.
Example:
“I DO THIS SERVICE!!! I AM VIP DC PARTNER MILLIONAIRE I CAN DO 100000 PUSHUPS SUPERB FITNESS GURU CAN BE TRUSTED”
That’s not even exaggerated. Only about 20 percent of that sentence is useful. The rest just confuses Google and makes your listing less visible.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW
This rule will be enforced once SWAPD 3.5 is live, but you can start cleaning up your listings right now. We’re not forcing anyone to edit old threads, but new listings that break this rule won’t get approved.
If you care about your own sales, fix your titles. A clean, focused title ranks higher, gets more views, and makes you more money.
Do it for your wallet, not for us.
