I thought the VIP status was already 10 000 USD in transactions based on the only 2018 post I could find
It was $5k before so I guess they edited the original thread from 2018.

I had $5k before it was changed but never got the VIP status 
Does it mean that older VIP member still have the status with 5k in transactions? So we have a two-tier community here
