đź’° Suggest a New SWAPD Category, Earn $250 in AutoBumpsđź’°

Zack Galifianakis Math Confusion Meme

We’re looking to expand SWAPD beyond social media and PR, and we want your ideas.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve spoken with many members privately and explored dozens of possibilities. One thing became very clear:

  • We don’t want to become another Fiverr.
  • We don’t want to become another Upwork.
  • We don’t want to become an AI freelancer marketplace.

There are already platforms doing those things.

What we’re interested in are categories that fit the SWAPD DNA.

Think:

  • Hard to access services
  • Insider opportunities
  • Online money making methods
  • Workarounds and shortcuts
  • High demand digital assets
  • Unique services that are difficult to find elsewhere
  • “I can’t believe there’s a market for this” type of deals

In short, categories that feel distinctly SWAPD.

Reward

For every category suggestion that gets approved and implemented, you’ll receive $250 in AutoBump credits added directly to your account.

Before Posting Your Idea

Please include:

1. What is the category?

Keep it concise and easy to understand.

2. Is there a real market for it?

Provide examples of services, products, or transactions that would fit the category.

3. Why would it succeed on SWAPD?

Explain why our community would buy, sell, or benefit from it.

4. Is it unique?

Not required, but bonus points if it’s something we haven’t seen done well elsewhere.

We’re especially interested in ideas that align with SWAPD’s reputation for connecting buyers and sellers in markets that are difficult to access through traditional channels.

Let’s hear your best ideas.

“ Hire “

A section that allows someone to hire a user, pay them via swapd weekly/monthly with the terms set in the description.

Many website owners need people creating content
Many Facebook/Twitter/Instagram owners need social posters/scheudlers.

Any other given job can be posted, with a set rate per week/ per job.

Not everyone here is a business owner, some people need a chance to get their foot in the door and I think this can help them.

A section where bussnes owners will look for people to hire about their online work. The ticket can be opened until they finish the deal.
It can be longterm for months and years, and their salary will be on that date they have agreement on the ticket :)

I think TRAVEL would be a good category

Why ? because everyone travels all over the world and there are different types of access that fall under travel .

For example:

I sell companion passes aka “Flight Passes” for American, united & Delta.

You get Unlimited free standby flights for an entire year, you also get to fly on their partner airlines and get first/business class for free.

I also sell Hotel Passes which falls under Travel as well! You get 30 - 80% off luxury hotel stays world wide for marriott brands you also get this for one year.

Just these two things alone are very hard to get access to. It is like a life hack and a if you know you know type of thing. Theres no telling what other people have access to that can be sold in the travel category on swapd. Traveling is essential to most people all over the world. People work hard just to be able to vacation. If we get creative with services in the travel niche swapd could be a major hub for cool travel access things.

@SXI and @stephano123 on point!

So the Hire would be like where buyers post their experience and sellers pick?

Just an unrelated suggestion:

What if SWAPD required members to register using a phone number instead of relying primarily on email?

Also, it would be great if notifications were delivered directly via SMS rather than email. Apart from business professionals, most people rarely check their email regularly, while everyone sees text messages almost immediately.

Another advantage is that it would help prevent just anyone from creating accounts and using SWAPD. Making phone number verification mandatory would add an extra layer of trust, improve user quality, and reduce spam or low-quality registrations. :slightly_smiling_face:

This isn’t a topic for that!

I also think that a section for CLIPPERS would be a really dope section, with clipping growing massively as a marketing go to i believe it will also drive alot of sales and new users to Swapd. Super organic and most people dont even know where to go to find clippers.

The concept of clipping actually took me a while to understand its value but now that i understand i believe its definitely going to get up there with influencer marketing.

It can be both. Example

I own a Twitter account, but I want someone to post on it for me daily.

” Seeking Twitter/X Content Poster”
Pay: $300 per week
Requirements: Post 4 tweets per day on Page Williams (@Page) / X

From the person looking for a job they can post a request for the work they are looking for

” Looking For Work On Facebook “
Pay Rate : $250 per week
Experience: I have worked on many pages posting content including a fan page with 500,000 followers and helped it grow to 600,000k

It can work for someone seeking an colleague and also work for an colleague with experience looking for work.

The best part? If its a match then Swapd have reoccurring revenue from the hire job each week.

I agree, clipping is the future of advertising and SWAPD has a huge community of digital real estate owners. People can make money clipping with their own properties.

Problem is, we won’t be able to show hires on home page as I’d expect a flood of “plz hire me” postings.

“ Hire Request: Seeking Clippers
Pay rate: $300 per week
Requirements: produce 25 clips per week for the channel Profile / X and post them on the page, 3 daily

This can fall easily into the hire category
