SWAPD Incoming 3.6 Update Preview

A new platform update is coming soon. We are calling it 3.6, although internally it is closer to 3.5.5. It is not a massive overhaul, but it introduces several meaningful improvements that will expand our reach and improve user experience.

Here is what is in store:

  1. Full Platform Translations
    We are rolling out full page live translations that will allow members to communicate beyond language barriers. Initial supported languages will include Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Turkish, and Chinese.

  2. Translated Pages with Dedicated URLs
    Every existing live page, including your listings, will automatically translate when viewed by users in supported languages. Each translated version will have its own URL and will be indexed by Google. This significantly expands our global footprint and increases potential traffic to your listings.

  3. The Year of Data
    This year we plan to extract and analyze all ticket data to compile detailed internal reports. We will be looking at what sells the most, pricing ranges, historical price trends, and more. If the results are meaningful and structured well, we intend to publish selected reports for the community.

  4. Improved /start Logic
    We will be making slight improvements to the start flow to streamline onboarding and make the initial experience smoother.

  5. Newbie Education and Expanded MoonPay Options
    We are preparing beginner focused how to videos to help new users get comfortable with SWAPD. In addition, we plan to expand MoonPay options so that, for example, a user can send PayPal which is then converted into crypto, making it easier for newcomers to pay for services.

  6. Refreshed Front Page Experience
    We want to enhance our appearance to attract more casual users. This includes a light reworking of the guest facing front page to make it more visually engaging. Think marketplace energy similar to Fiverr, but with the SWAPD identity and edge.

  7. Easier Chat Search!

We are enabling an easy way to search chats (right in the sidebar)!

Can you please add the hide location feature for VIP+, not just DC+? Even if not current location, at least registered country.
