This Refund Policy (“Policy”) is issued by VEYYO Limited Partnership, a Canadian limited partnership operating the platform known as SWAPD.co (“SWAPD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), in its capacity as Merchant of Record. This Policy forms part of the contractual terms applicable to all Transactions conducted on the SWAPD.co platform. By initiating or participating in a Transaction, both Buyers and Subcontractors expressly agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
1. Refund Initiation
Refunds may only be initiated under the following conditions:
a) Mutual agreement between the Buyer and Subcontractor, confirmed within the Checkout Ticket; or
b) A determination in favor of the Buyer through SWAPD’s dispute resolution process.
2. Dispute Resolution Outcome
Refund determinations following a dispute are based on the specific terms of the Checkout Ticket and SWAPD’s Buyer and Subcontractor responsibility clauses. Subcontractors remain fully responsible for the quality, legality, and fulfillment of their goods or services; however, all refunds are executed by SWAPD in its capacity as Merchant of Record.
3. Non-Refundable Fees
The SWAPD platform service fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. Additionally, all approved refunds are subject to a 1% refund processing fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount before payment is returned to the Buyer.
4. Approved Refunds
When a refund is granted—whether by mutual agreement or by dispute resolution outcome—SWAPD, as Merchant of Record, will process the refund to the Buyer’s designated account. Refunds shall be net of the 1% refund processing fee. SWAPD may offset refund obligations against any funds otherwise payable to the Subcontractor.
5. Ticket Eligibility
Any Checkout Ticket older than ninety (90) days from its date of issuance shall be deemed ineligible for dispute resolution, and no refund claims shall be accepted for such Transactions.
6. Buyer Acknowledgement
Buyers acknowledge and agree that all goods and services purchased through SWAPD are provided by independent Subcontractors, and not by SWAPD directly. Refund requests must be made strictly in accordance with this Policy. Initiating chargebacks or other forms of payment reversal against SWAPD is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of platform access.
7. SWAPD’s Discretion
SWAPD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the eligibility of refund requests, including in circumstances not expressly contemplated by this Policy.
8. Subcontractor Warranties
Subcontractors shall honor any warranties, guarantees, or representations they make in connection with their goods or services. Failure to do so may result in account suspension, termination, and liability for refund obligations.
