I actually like the minimal feel @mae created, I think we are so used to the old design a lot of people don’t like the sudden change.
Something like this could maybe be a mixture of old and new? I am no way a graphic designer and didn’t have the hd files.

I designed the same actually, but I think you’re right. Perhaps small steps first, then ditch the logo.
