Awaiting Payment - What Does It Mean?
When your ticket is marked as awaiting payment, it indicates that both the buyer and seller have mutually agreed to proceed with the transaction, and the payment has been initiated by the buyer. The time it takes for the payment to be processed varies depending on the amount and payment method used. Some payment methods are faster (USDC/USDT/Credit Cards), while others are slower (TransferWise/Bank wire).
What Are the Typical Waiting Times for Each Payment Method?
#1 Crypto Payments - Crypto payments are typically the quickest, taking approximately 60 minutes to confirm if sent as a priority and around 5-10 hours if sent as a non-priority transaction. These wait times assume that the sender’s BTC wallet is already funded.
#2 Bank Wires - Bank wires are the slowest method of transferring funds but are also one of the safest. On average, a bank wire takes 2-3 business days for one-way travel. Occasionally, this wait time may extend to 4-6 days.
#3 Credit Card Payments - Credit card payments are a fast method, with confirmation usually taking up to 24 hours.
Please Keep in Mind!
Even if SWAPD receives payment instantly, our staff members are still required to manually approve and confirm the payment. This process may not always be instantaneous, as it depends on staff availability. We kindly request your patience while waiting for confirmation. Thank you!
