Ticket Status: Deadline Passed

Understanding “Deadline Passed”

When a Checkout Ticket is marked Deadline Passed, it means the subcontractor has not delivered the service or property within the timeframe specified in the Checkout Ticket.

In limited cases, SWAPD (operated by VEYYO Limited Partnership, Canada, as Merchant of Record) may grant an extension of up to 30 additional days, provided both the Buyer and subcontractor agree. However, only one extension is ever permitted, and the transaction will be administratively concluded at the end of that extension regardless of consent.

Guidelines and Considerations

  • Refund Eligibility – Once the deadline has passed, the Buyer may request a refund. SWAPD will review the case and, if warranted, authorize a refund from the funds held in custody.
  • Extensions – If an extension is granted, the Buyer and subcontractor are both bound by the new deadline. Requests to cancel or alter the agreement during the extension will not be accepted.
  • No Additional Extensions – SWAPD enforces a strict one-extension policy. Even if both parties request further extensions, SWAPD will not authorize them.
  • Final Authority – SWAPD retains full discretion to close the Checkout Ticket, refund the Buyer, or authorize partial payout depending on performance and circumstances.
