Ticket Status: Grace Period

Understanding the Grace Period

Every property or service bought on SWAPD is governed by a compulsory 24-hour grace period following the completion of the transfer or service. This rule extends to both virtual items and all types of services. The purpose of this grace period is to ensure that all transactions on SWAPD undergo proper verification, and that the seller’s claims are accurate, and the agreed-upon terms are met. During this period, buyers are advised to review all aspects they consider important and those outlined in the transaction terms within the checkout ticket.

Guidelines and Recommendations for the Grace Period:

  • Buyers are prohibited from making significant alterations to the purchased property (such as name changes, bio changes, deleting content, uploading harmful content, etc.). Failure to comply with this rule may disqualify buyers from initiating a return.
  • Buyers are encouraged to make a few test posts to assess the activity (if applicable).
  • Buyers are advised to thoroughly research any aspects they deem important.
  • Buyers should verify the property’s statistics (if applicable) against the seller’s listing.
  • Buyers acknowledge having 24 hours before the grace period expires. Failing to report any potential issues within this timeframe will result in the release of funds to the seller.
  • All services, without exception, are subject to the mandatory grace period.
  • Buyers have the option to waive the grace period upon request. However, this choice will instantly void any future support from SWAPD staff if issues arise with the purchased item or service in the future. SWAPD reserves the right to decline disputes for tickets where the grace period was skipped.

Grace Period Exceptions

It’s important to note that the mandatory grace period does not apply to YouTube channel transfers. These transfers typically involve a 7-day waiting period during which the buyer is included in the channel permissions list. Therefore, the grace period is exempted for such transactions.
